Brandaways is owned by sisters, Sherri Krenk and Shannon Torchia.
In 2013, they combined the skills and strengths of their years in both customer service and in the promotional product and print advertising industry to launch Brandaways.
They have dedicated their woman owned creative marketing company to provide integrated marketing campaigns and unique promotional product strategies.
Brandaways is affiliated with iPROMOTEu, an international organization of promotional distributors. The iPROMOTEu organization is well known in the PPAI industry and has over 900 affiliates
This affiliation allows them to maximize back end support and obtain incredible buying power which translates directly into excellent pricing for clients. Plus, it affords them the time to concentrate on creativity and customers.
The first year in business, Brandaways won the Rising Star award from IPU. The award is given to the fastest growing and most promising affiliate of the year. They have ranked in the Top 100 producers consistently every year since, finishing 2018 at #32 in the nation. finishing 2021 at #30 in the nation.
Brandaways is now serving a client base of over 400 companies and organizations across the country. Brandaways strives to exceed client’s expectations by consistently delivering fresh, innovative ideas and exceptional service. They utilize all of the tools at their disposal to deliver measurable solutions on time and on budget.
Shannon and Sherri’s passion and dedication to the business is infectious and evident in every interaction.
Sherri was born and raised in Nashville TN. She worked in various industries mastering the core skills of a business from accounting, payroll, customer service, sales, management and grew to leadership naturally. Before starting Brandaways she was the National Sales Manager for a Large online promotional firm.
Sherri has several of the most iconic bars and restaurants in the booming Nashville hospitality industry as clients in her portfolio. Her creativity and responsiveness have made her a valued resource to their marketing and merchandise teams.
When not creating a buzz for her clients, Sherri enjoys spending time with her husband Jay and their three children, Madison, Conner and Alex. She has always been the #1 Fan at every dance competition or sporting event any of them were involved in.
Shannon was also born and raised in Nashville TN. She has extensive experience in customer service and sales. Her 15 years as a lead customer service rep with UPS provided Shannon with an in-depth knowledge of top rate customer service and knowledge about the shipping industry that assists the entire Brandaways team in always delivering jobs on time and in good shape. Shannon’s outgoing personality made her transition to sales a perfect fit and she was consistently a top sales performer at a large online promotional firm before launching Brandaways.
Shannon’s enthusiasm and passion for her job and life are contagious. She tackles every job with boundless energy and a commitment to succeed. She is a Platinum Ambassador for the Nashville Convention & Visitors Center and a great partner to her many loyal clients across the country
Shannon lives in Murfreesboro with her Husband Mike. She has two daughters, Cameron and Katherine and can often be found delighting her three grandchildren with some new adventure.
Conner joined the Brandaways team in 2018 after successfully completing his BS in Business and Marketing at Middle Tennessee State University.
Conner brings a great insight into the trends of the younger demographic clients as well as current, cutting edge knowledge of the latest marketing strategies. He has been extremely effective in his ability to network and introduce Brandaways to new industries and organizations.
Conner enjoys meeting people everywhere he goes and discovering how he can help them promote their brand and successfully measure the results of creatively using promotional products in custom campaigns. He has fresh ideas and insights that are extremely valuable.
Conner lives in Murfreesboro, TN with his bride, Peyton. He is active in Business Network International and volunteers as a student mentor and First Responder for his church.
Jan joined the team in 2017 after retiring from a 35+ year career in Educational Sales and Marketing. She calls this her “Encore Career” and loves bringing her years of experience into the exciting and fun promotional products industry. You might say she is our Boomer Years demographic expert.
Jan has a BS and MEd in Education. After a brief stint teaching in MNPS, Jan went into business and built a local company that sold in 1996. She spent the last 20 years working as a Regional Sales Leader for a $300M Education corporation leading sales associates across ten Southeastern states and generating +$30M revenue annually.
Returning to a sales role with Brandaways has allowed Jan to get back to doing what she loves best- Spending time in Nashville with her friends and family, meeting new people in new industries, creatively providing solutions and learning something new every day.
Catherine is responsible for the management of vendor relations and assisting Affiliates with importing and sourcing. She has more than 20 years of experience on the supplier side of the promotional products industry managing relationships with both domestic and international vendors. Catherine vets and coordinates all import resources, overseeing and ensuring the import order process goes smoothly. She loves being part of a team that has innovatively brought change to the promotional products industry.
Trishia joined as a Promotional Admin Assistant at Brandaways in 2021. She currently manages the company’s social media platforms and assists in fulfilling certain tasks. While still new to the industry, she has showcased her capability and adaptability through her curiosity in learning new things.
On her free days, she enjoys exploring new places and spending time with the nature. Trishia also serves as a volunteer in her church at present.
